History

Maison Dedine is named after its owner, the late Saad Eddine Sinaoui, professor and son of a Sheikh of the Great Mosque Zitouna of Tunis, his hometown.

Painter and sailor in his spare time, he designed himself the architecture of this house set on the sea like a boat, and built it stone by stone for seven long years on the side of his village muse, Sidi Bou Said; It faces the bay of Tunis, one of the most beautiful bays of the Mediterranean.

It is his signature that can be found in every detail of this Boutique Hotel, where each room bears the name of a member of his family to whom he was deeply attached.

Forty years later, his daughter-in-law has added a modern artistic touch while respecting the original structure of this exceptional residence.
